Terms of Service

Welcome to Grozi. These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Grozi mobile app and any associated services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Grozi ("Grozi," "we," "us"). Contact us anytime at allen07edwarddev@gmail.com.

2. Your account

• You need to be at least 13 years old to use Grozi.
• You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your Google Sign-In credentials secure.
• You may invite household members to your lists. You're responsible for what you share and with whom.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass our security controls (including the AI quota and ad-credit caps).
• Use AI prompts to generate hateful, sexual, violent, or illegal content.
• Upload photos you don't have the right to share, or content that infringes anyone's intellectual property.
• Resell, scrape, or use the Service to build a competing product without our written permission.

4. Free, ads, and AI credits

Grozi is free to use. To keep it that way, we show ads:

• Banner and interstitial ads may appear throughout the app. You can hide them for a period by watching a rewarded video — purely optional.
• AI features have a daily free quota. After that, you can watch a rewarded video to bank an AI credit, up to a daily ad-watch ceiling.
• Ad providers (currently Google AdMob) and AI providers (currently Google Gemini and OpenAI) have their own terms; we don't control their availability and don't guarantee any particular ad will load or AI suggestion will be useful.

5. Content you provide

You keep ownership of everything you put into Grozi (list names, items, notes, photos, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and the people you've shared lists with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

6. AI output disclaimer

AI-suggested items, prices, and product images are generated by third-party models or fetched from public databases. They are best-effort and may be inaccurate. Always verify in store — especially prices, allergens, and quantities. Grozi is not liable for errors in AI output.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Grozi running, but we don't promise the Service will always be available, error-free, or secure. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes when we can.

8. Termination

You can stop using Grozi anytime by signing out and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the AI or ad systems, or pose a risk to other users. On termination, the licenses you granted us end, and we delete your account data per the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROZI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Grozi against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app. Continued use of the Service after the change date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila.
